December 2022: Carbon Offset Opportunities to Plant and Protect Urban Forests

In our first webinar in the Climate Change Resilience and Adaptation series, join Mark McPherson with City Forest Credits and Dan Hintz with the Mountains to Sound Greenway as they share how urban forest carbon credits can provide a much-needed new source of revenue for local governments, non-profits, and other entities that manage urban forests. They will also describe an example of a reforestation project in Shoreline, WA. Attendees will learn about how urban forest carbon credits work, their role in the voluntary carbon market, cooperation between public and private entities, community engagement, and how to lead a successful carbon project.
